Cape Weymouth offers 8 established campsites suitable for caravans, camper trailers and tents. The campground provides a relaxed and comfortable place to stay while exploring the surrounding coastline, nearby fishing areas and Kutini-Payamu (Iron Range) National Park.

  • The Amenities: Guests have access to a camp kitchen, and shared amenities block with hot showers. Ice, bait and locally caught seafood is often available for sale.
  • The Location: The location is sheltered from south-easterly winds and provides easy access to Chilli Beach and walking areas.

Rates & Booking:

  • Adults (16+): $35 per night
  • Children (6-15): $10 per night | Children under 6: No charge
  • Stay Longer Offer: Guests booking 7 nights are only charged for 6.
  • Pet Friendly
  • Check-in: 10am – 5pm | Check-out: 10am.

Luxury Eco Tents

Cape Weymouth Camping and Cabins offers 3 powered luxury eco tents, set on raised platforms with expansive covered decks (4.8m x 4.5m) for outdoor relaxation. These tents provide a comfortable accommodation option while still allowing guests to experience the remote Cape York environment.

  • The Amenities: Each tent includes a king size bed, double sofa bed, BBQ, portable gas cooker, kettle, bar fridge, plates and utensils, ceiling fan, pedestal fan and outdoor furniture.
  • The Larger Eco Tent (5.5m x 4.8m): Includes an outdoor shower and portable toilet.
  • Standard Eco Tents (4.8m x 4.5m): 2 available. There is a  toilet and shower nearby for tent guests only.

Rates & Booking:

  • Larger Eco Tent: $300 per night for 2 guests ($50 per night for each additional guest).
  • Standard Eco Tents: $275 per night for 2 guests ($50 per night for each additional guest).
  • Minimum stay: Two nights.
  • Stay Longer Offer: Guests booking 7 nights are only charged for 6.
  • Check-in: From 2pm | Check-out: 10am.
